I told her my complaints, namely dry cough and a bad headache. She told me to strip to the waist and began to examine me. First she felt my puls and took my blood pressure. Then she examined my throat and listened to my lungs. The doctor didn’t think there was anything wrong with me, just a common cold. So she wrote out a prescription for some medicine which she said would make me feel better. She also recommended me to stay in bed for several days.
