Needles hedgehog need for defense. After all, foxes and badgers hunt for a hedgehog. When in danger, the hedgehog collapses into a ball, and also bounces and hisses sharply. So he can scare the beast bigger than himself.

Hedgehog is a small predatory animal. He catches mice, frogs, lizards, and even rats. Pointed face of a hedgehog sniffs out fungi and berries in the thick grass. The little hedgehog can climb up walls, and even drain pipes. Therefore, fences and hedges in his little travels he cares nothing! Hedgehogs can even swim!

One fine summer morning I decided to walk in the woods. I quickly got ready and left the house. I walked along a narrow path through the forest. I listened to the beautiful singing of birds, the rustle of leaves on the trees. Suddenly I heard a rustle of grass. I looked around and saw someone sneaking around . Coming closer, I saw a hedgehog. It was big and beautiful. When I approached, the hedgehog curled up. He scared me. I stepped aside a little and began to watch this beautiful inhabitant of the forest. The hedgehog went forward, and I followed him. Suddenly he disappeared from sight. Returning home, I told my mother about my exciting trip to the forest.
