Prince Volodymyr the Great Monument is one commemorating Prince Volodymyr —
the Baptizer of Rus. The monument dates back to 1840, and is the first sculpture
monument in Kyiv. The designer of the monument was a famous sculptor V.
Demut-Malinovsky and an outstanding architect Professor O.Ton. The statue shows
