In summer I went to Brighton. When I arrived there it was late afternoon. After dinner I went out for a walk. It was a nasty day, the sky was covered with clouds, and it was raining a little. As I was moving slowly along the quiet empty street, I saw a stranger. "Was that you, Peter?" he cried out. It was Jones."I haven't seen you for ages," he said. — "Why, what are you doing here?" I asked. "Why aren't you going home?" — "I can't, I've forgotten the name of the hotel where I'm staying." Jones explained that he had left his things at the hotel and decided to go to the park. He had been walking for about 2 hours and finally got lost. "If you rang up the hotels, you would find out the address of your hotel” I said and suggested that we go to my hotel. While Jones was taking a shower I began telephoning all the hotels in Brighton and next afternoon Jones found his hotel.
