The last time I went to the theatre was about a year ago. I went with a group of friends to see a production of Shakespeare's "Hamlet" at the local playhouse. We arrived early and got good seats near the front of the stalls.

The play was very well acted, with the lead actor giving a powerful performance as the troubled prince. The set design was minimalist but effective, allowing the focus to remain on the dialogue and characters.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the show and afterwards discussed our favorite scenes and interpretations over drinks at a nearby pub. It was a great evening out, combining culture, socializing and intellectual stimulation. I always find live theatre to be a more immersive and engaging experience compared to film or TV

The only downside was the ticket price, which was quite high. But I think it's worth it for the unique atmosphere and energy of a live performance. I'd love to go again soon, perhaps to see a musical or comedy next time
