3) Alex and Jane greeted Clarence and said that they were going to watch Star Academy at Phil's place that day. They also said that they would be happy if Clare joined them.

4) Helen greeted Clarence, introduced herself and said that she had two tickets for their school band concert. She added that she would be waiting for Clare near the hall at 5:30 and said her good-bye.

5) Grandma greeted Clarence, introduced herself and said that she would be in London the following week. Grandma expressed the hope that Clare would meet her at the station on Saturday at 5:30 pm.

6) David told Clarence it was a pity she was out again. He also said that he had tried to talk to her many times. He added that he had been waiting for her in te Internet café from from 5 to 6 pm the day before. And he asled Clarence to call him.

7) Clarence greeted David and introduced herself. She said that she had been waiting for him for half an hour in the school band room the day before.

8) Clarence greeted Helen and introduced herself. She told Helen that she had got her message. She said that she was sorry but she wouldn' go with her to the concert. Clarence explained that her granny was coming and she was going to meet her at the station.

2) Clarence's form teacher greeted Mrs Davidson. She said that Clarence had been absent from the Science lesson the day before. Clarence's form teacher also said she was sure that Clarence had been missing the lesson for good reason.
